Pinnacle Partners is looking for a .NET applicaton developer who is interested in being part of a small, Microsoft solutions based consulting organization.  This position will be utilizing some of the newest technologies and approaches relateded to the Microsoft development stack.  This is a full-time opportunity offering health care, 401k and training benefits.

Job Summary: 

A Software Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise related to the design and development of software application(s).   This position will participate in project activities and collaborate with Team members to implement applications and deliver on product and project objectives

Essential Functions:

·        Provide analysis related to software design and development

·        Responsible for understanding assigned technical design and development tasks:

o   Create design and develop for a variety of applications by creating and/or enhancing software operating or applications systems

o   Create SQL queries and Stored Procedures.

o   Performs unit testing, integration testing, debugging 

o   Troubleshoot complex issues

·        Deliverables include any assigned technical documentation, the necessary programming and unit testing

Required Knowledge and Skills:

·        Strong experience with MS .Net technologies (VS 2008/2010, .Net 3.5/4.0 C#)

·        Web application development experience with the following languages (ASP.Net, HTML, DHTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript)

·        Excellent knowledge of Microsoft based applications written using .Net Framework and Microsoft stack components such as WF, WCF, WPF

·        Strong understanding of OO design principals, including componentized architectures

·        Strong understanding of coding methods, debugging, documentation, and best practices.

·        Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle

·        Experience using a code generation tool

·        Experience working in highly matrixed organization

·        Strong Multi-tasking skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

·        Bachelors in CS/MIS or equivalent experience 

·        3-5 years in software application development using .Net 3.5/4.0 and C#

·        3+ years experience designing databases in SQL Server 2005/2008 and ADO.Net

·        3+ years experience with Object Oriented design and development

·        3-4 years in software application design and development

·        3+ years experience with formal development methodologies

SharePoint development (InfoPath, Designer, Visual Studio) exposure a plus Team Foundation Server exposure a plus.
